Beautiful Soul ........
Beautiful soul is like a clean stream,
It can make all living things in dream.
Beautiful soul is like a blue sky,
It can make human beings bright in mind.
Beautiful soul is like genial breeze,
It can make the world come to life.
Beautiful soul is like sunshine,
It can stimulate the depressive heart.
Beautiful soul is like a charming flower,
It will make the pedestrian joyous and light.
Beautiful soul is like a honeydew,
Everyone will feel its penetrative sweet.
Beautiful soul is like a pomander,
Everyone will smell its aroma.

~ Freedom ~
‘In order to have peace we need justice,
to have justice we need mercy,
to have mercy we need love,
to have love we need freedom.’

~ Are you free? ~
Are you free? .........
I say, are you …
Free as leaf falling from an autumn tree,
Free as single drop of rain falling from the heavens,
Free like a flower in the spring breeze,
Free as a bird gliding across the western horizon?
I say, are you…
Free to express what you feel when you feel,
Free to speak what you want when you want,
Free to dress the way you want,
Free to walk wherever you want?
You say we are all free in this world,
I say open your eyes and take a deeper look,
Into the lives of those,
Who have never experienced freedom.
You say freedom is a gift,
That should be used wisely.
I say open your minds and your hearts,
And shower the gift of freedom.
You say you have no control over freedom,
I say with freedom comes power,
So you have the power, to fight,
Fight to liberate those who are not free.
Because freedom comes with trust,
And it comes with responsibility,
And it’s up to you and me,
To help those be free of oppression.

A Friend or Enemy? ~
A Friend or Enemy?.........
He wanted me to burn in hell,
He wanted me to be among those who fell,
He wished to lead me astray,
From my Lords mercy he tried to keep me away.
Was he my friend or enemy?
It was because of him I was deprived,
He had deceived so many,
He kept coming at me until I died,
I still didn’t realize amidst all the agony,
Was he my friend or enemy?
He whispered evil to me every day & every night,
He defeated me without me even putting up a fight,
I didn’t even try,
I thought I can just ignore him and let him pass by,
Was he my friend or enemy?
This is why I was drowned in sins,
All along he was sitting back and laughing at me,
Then death hit me, now I can see,
But it’s too late,
There’s no going back to change my fate.
His task had reached its end,
This was his plan all along,
He wasn’t my friend,
I understood it all wrong,
He was the Devil, my arch enemy!

~ The Quran ~
The Quran......
I open the pages of that Book and read with my hurting heart.
I see things making sense in this world we rip apart.
I read those words aloud to let my soul hear well.
I read about the consequence of lies and about the pits of hell.
I read about the rivers that flow with honey, milk and wine.
I read about the gifts of heaven and how the insides shine.
I read about the rights to man and read about the signs.
I read about the miracles and how nothing is unrefined.
I see the truth through words that sing
Read about every cure, every little thing.
I read of how I'm protected with examples from the past.
I read of how I'm meant to pray, and how I'm meant to fast.
My soul is reassured of what it has to do.
A guide Book for my life, a guide book thats for you!
''No compulsion in religion'' is what the Book does say,
Warnings not to be unjust in times of war or pay.
Even the simplest things no man can jot from head.
Like how the pharaoh died and what battles blood was shed.
Like how mountains are pegged into the earth and the
fetus forms inside the womb.
Like how honey is a cure and how we can prevent
pain from satins nasty doom.
Like the way the word year is mentioned 365 times in this book....
If you don't believe that, take a careful close up look!
Like the way it talks about planets floating in an orbit high.
With seven skies and thunder is the angel's praising cry.
It tells us about the black hole that sweeps everything in its way.
Only discovered recently by scientist and nothing that they say...
Nothing that they've said has not been mentioned in this Book.
If you don't believe that, then take a careful close up look!
Like the way my heart feels when I've read a couple lines.
How my chin is lifted and my heart and soul shines.
There's so much more I'd be here all day.
Proof this Book is not a mere eloquent play
This Book, all the education of today
This Book, see what it has to say.
What would you lose by reading a page?
Your sure to feel no hatred, no anger nor mans cruel rage.
Open your eyes for this Book is made ''for those who understand!''
I quote that from the Book itself
It's time you had a look to see if you can READ....
It's time you gave your soul a chance, see it for yourself.

~ Colors of my life ~
Colors of my life............
If I could control the colors in which define my life.
I would take away the grays and blacks
that shadow me through the nights.
I would paint with pinks and lavendars and aqua shades of blue,
for those are the colors that tinted my world
when I spent my life with you.
The beaming bursts of yellow and the various shades of green,
the passionate essence of the color red remind me of just how much you mean.
If I could rewind the book of my life
when all I saw was black and white
until you came and colored me.
My eyes can only see the shadows of the colors I once knew,
the vivid glimpse of orange and magenta that showed me my love was true.
The darkest colors of the saddest grays and the bubble of blackness
that surrounds me each day,
are the only colors in which I now see since you went away and left me.
I can only hope that oneday
I will be able to see that beautiful rainbow of color
that you once introduced to me.
It's magnificent ribbons of color that shine so very bright,
I will always hold within my heart so close to me and so tight.
I would rather be blind
if I shall never see all of the colors that you brought forth in me.
I can only pray that you will come and paint my life once more,
for without your array of luminous colors
I have nothing to live for.

~ A mans tears `
A mans tears.........
A mans tears can mean so much
We really ought’ to learn
No need to talk, no need to touch
And watch our tables turn
So often, we will feel the pain
And hide behind a front,
When really, tears are like the rain
To fall is what they want.
So strong we seem, yes this is true
Our boots befriend work residue..
The hard fought days show on our hands
Our nails consist of dirt and sand.
But let that not be like your heart
Because of your routine
For a man who’s humble and is smart
Will cry to reach his dreams.
I used to try and hold it in
You know, just shake it off
But that only left me cold within
Alone, and feeling lost.
Till one day it did hit my cheek
So warm, this cant be rain
I didn’t move, I didn’t speak
Just let my sorrows drain.
Thank you God
for showing me how to cry.

Don't let someone become a priority in your life,
when you are just an option in their life.

~ Osho Quotes on Life and Love ~
Osho Quotes on Life and Love ........
Mind can accept any boundary anywhere. But the reality is that, by its very nature, existence cannot have any boundary, because what will be beyond the boundary - again another sky. That's why I'm saying skies upon skies are available for your flight. Don't be content easily. Those who remain content easily remain small: small are their joys, small are their ecstasies, small are their silences, small is their being. But there is no need! This smallness is your own imposition upon your freedom, upon your unlimited possibilities, upon your unlimited potential.
Experience life in all possible ways -- good-bad, bitter-sweet, dark-light, summer-winter. Experience all the dualities. Don't be afraid of experience, because the more experience you have, the more mature you become.
Remain in wonder if you want the mysteries to open up for you. Mysteries never open up for those who go on questioning. Questioners sooner or later end up in a library. Questioners sooner or later end up with scriptures, because scriptures are full of answers. And answers are dangerous, they kill your wonder.
All the Buddhas of all the ages have been telling you a very simple fact: Be -- don't try to become. Within these two words, be and becoming, your whole life is contained. Being is enlightenment, becoming is ignorance.
You can go on changing the outer for lives and you will never be satisfied; something or other will remain to be changed. Unless the inner changes, the outer can never be perfect.
What is needed is not something in which you can forget your loneliness; what is needed is that you become aware of your aloneness - which is a reality. And it is so beautiful to experience it, to feel it, because it is your freedom from the crowd, from the other. It is your freedom from the fear of being lonely.
Self-respect is often mistaken for arrogance when in reality it is the opposite. When we can recognize all our good qualities as well as or faults with neutrality, we can start to appreciate ourselves as we would a dear friend and experience the comfortable inner glow of respect. To embrace the journey towards our full potential we need to become our own loving teacher and coach. Spurring ourselves on to become better human beings we develop true regard for ourselves and our life will become sacred.
You carry your wound. With the ego, your whole being is a wound. And you carry it around. Nobody is interested in hurting you, nobody is positively waiting to hurt you; everybody is engaged in safeguarding his own wound. Who has got the energy? But still it happens, because you are so ready to be wounded, so ready, just waiting on the brink for anything. You cannot touch a man of Tao. Why? - because there is no one to be touched. There is no wound. He is healthy, healed, whole. This word whole is beautiful. The word heal comes from the whole, and the word holy also comes from the whole. He is whole, healed, holy. Be aware of your wound. Don't help it to grow, let it be healed; and it will be healed only when you move to the roots. The less the head, the more the wound will heal; with no head there is no wound. Live a headless life. Move as a total being, and accept things. Just for twenty-four hours, try it - total acceptance, whatsoever happens. Someone insults you, accept it; don't react, and see what happens. Suddenly you will feel an energy flowing in you that you have not felt before.
When you are alone you are not alone, you are simply lonely - and there is a tremendous difference between loneliness and aloneness. When you are lonely you are thinking of the other, you are missing the other. Loneliness is a negative state. You are feeling that it would have been better if the other were there - your friend, your wife, your mother, your beloved, your husband. It would have been good if the other were there, but the other is not. Loneliness is absence of the other. Aloneness is the presence of oneself. Aloneness is very positive. It is a presence, overflowing presence. You are so full of presence that you can fill the whole universe with your presence and there is no need for anybody.
This has been said again and again, down through the ages. All the religious people have been saying this: "We come alone into this world, we go alone." All togetherness is illusory. The very idea of togetherness arises because we are alone, and the aloneness hurts. We want to drown our aloneness in relationship....That's why we become so much involved in love. Try to see the point. Ordinarily you think you have fallen in love with a woman or with a man because she is beautiful, he is beautiful. That is not the truth. The truth is just the opposite: you have fallen in love because you cannot be alone. You were going to fall. You were going to avoid yourself somehow or other. And there are people who don't fall in love with women or men--then they fall in love with money. They start moving into money or into a power trip, they become politicians. That too is avoiding your aloneness. If you watch man, if you watch yourself deeply, you will be surprised--all your activities can be reduced to one single source. The source is that you are afraid of your aloneness. Everything else is just an excuse. The real cause is that you find yourself very alone.
The heart is like a flower - unless it is open it cannot release its fragrance into the world. The fragrance of the heart is made up of the qualities and virtues of our spirit. Most of us have learned how to keep our heart closed in a world that would trample all over us if we let it. Being open hearted today seems to require tremendous courage. It is a courage which comes only when we realise that no one can hurt us, no matter what they say or do. They may hurt our body, but if we have realised we are spirit, nothing outside can touch us, if we so decide. Little by little, practice opening your heart to those you think have hurt you. Realise it wasn't them that hurt you, it was yourself. And it taught you not to trust and you closed your heart. A closed heart is in need of opening. And when you do, you will have begun to heal yourself.
Turning inwards is not a turning at all. Going inwards is not a going at all. Turning inwards simply means that you have been running after this desire and that, and you have been running and running and you have been coming again and again to frustration. That each desire brings misery, that there is no fulfillment through desire. That you never reach anywhere, that contentment is impossible. Seeing this truth, that running after desires takes you nowhere, you stop. Not that you make any effort to stop. If you make any effort to stop it is again running, in a subtle way. You are still desiring--maybe now it is desirelessness that you desire. If you are making an effort to go in, you are still going out. Any effort can only take you out, outwards. All journeys are outward journeys, there is no inward journey. How can you journey inwards? You are already there, there is no point in going. When going stops, journeying disappears; when desiring is no more clouding your mind, you are in. This is called turning in. But it is not a turning at all, it is simply not going out.
Controlled persons are always nervous because deep down turmoil is still hidden. If you are uncontrolled, flowing, alive, then you are not nervous. There is no question of being nervous - whatsoever happens, happens. You have no expectations for the future, you are not performing. Then why should you be nervous? To control that mind, one has to remain so cold and frozen that no life energy is allowed to move into your limbs, into your body. If energy is allowed to move, those repressions will surface. That's why people have learned how to be cold, how to touch others and yet not touch them, how to see people and yet not see them. People live with clichés - "Hullo. How are you?" Nobody means anything. These are just to avoid the real encounter of two persons. People don't look into each other's eyes, they don't hold hands, they don't try to feel each other's energy, they don't allow each other to pour - very afraid, somehow just managing, cold and dead, in a straitjacket.
A man alone, confined to himself, is ugly. Life is in love, life is in flow, in give and take and sharing...
No dead principles can help, but only living consciousness. Be absolutely unprincipled and just follow life.
You will need civilisation, culture, education, but don't get identified with them. They are games. One can play them because one has to live in society...Watch so that you don't get identified with them, and whenever they are not needed, be natural.
All that this world needs is a good cleansing of the heart of all the inhibitions of the past. And laughter and tears can do both. Tears will take out all the agony that is hidden inside you and laughter will take all that is preventing your ecstasy. Once you have learned the art you will be immensely surprised.
Unless you drop your personality you will not be able to find your individuality. Individuality is given by existence; personality is imposed by the society. Personality is social convenience. Society cannot tolerate individuality, because individuality will not follow like a sheep. Individuality has the quality of the lion; the lion moves alone. The sheep are always in the crowd, hoping that being in the crowd will feel cosy. Being in the crowd one feels more protected, secure. If somebody attacks, there is every possibility in a crowd to save yourself. But alone? - only the lions move alone. And every one of you is born a lion, but the society goes on conditioning you, programming your mind as a sheep. It gives you a personality, a cosy personality, nice, very convenient, very obedient. Society wants slaves, not people who are absolutely dedicated to freedom. Society wants slaves because all the vested interests want obedience.
A man who lives through conscience becomes hard. A man who lives through consciousness remains soft. Why?--because a man who has some ideas about how to live, naturally becomes hard. He has continuously to carry his character around himself. That character is like an armor; his protection, his security; his whole life is invested in that character. And he always reacts to situations through the character, not directly. If you ask him a question, his answer is ready-made. That is the sign of a hard person--he is dull, stupid, mechanical. He may be a good computer, but he is not a man. You do something and he reacts in a well- established way. His reaction is predictable; he is a robot. The real man acts spontaneously. If you ask him a question, your question gets a response, not a reaction. He opens his heart to your question, exposes himself to your question, responds to it....
We are miserable because we are too much in the self. What does it mean when I say we are too much in the self? And what exactly happens when we are too much in the self? Either you can be in existence or you can be in the self--both are not possible together. To be in the self means to be apart, to be separate. To be in the self means to become an island. To be in the self means to draw a boundary line around you. To be in the self means to make a distinction between this 'I am' and that 'I am not'. The definition, the boundary, between "I" and "not I" is what the self is--the self isolates. And it makes you frozen--you are no longer flowing. If you are flowing the self cannot exist. Hence people have become almost like ice-cubes. They don't have any warmth, they don't have any love--love is warmth and they are afraid of love. If warmth comes to them they will start melting and the boundaries will disappear. In love the boundaries disappear; in joy also the boundaries disappear, because joy is not cold.
There is no evil and there are no evil forces in the world. There are only people of awareness, and there are people who are fast asleep -- and sleep has no force. The whole energy is in the hands of the awakened people. And one awakened person can awaken the whole world. One lighted candle can make millions of candles lighted without losing it's light.
What is needed is not something in which you can forget your loneliness; what is needed is that you become aware of your aloneness which is a reality. And it is so beautiful to experience it, to feel it, because it is your freedom from the crowd, from the other. It is your freedom from the fear of being lonely.
As you move above to the fourth centre - that is the heart - your whole life becomes a sharing of love. The third centre has created the abundance of love. By reaching to the third centre in meditation, you have become so overflowing with love, with compassion, and you want to share. It happens at the fourth centre, the heart. That's why even in the ordinary world people think love comes out of the heart. For them it is just hearsay, they have heard it; they don't know it because they have never reached to their heart. But the meditator finally reaches to the heart. As he has reached to the centre of his being - the third centre - suddenly an explosion of love and compassion and joy and blissfulness and benediction has arisen in him with such a force that it hits his heart and opens the heart. The heart is just in the middle of all your seven centres - three centres below, three centres above. You have come exactly to the middle.
First meditate, be blissful, then much love will happen of its own accord. Then being with others is beautiful and being alone is also beautiful. Then it is simple, too. You don't depend on others and you don't make others dependent on you. Then it is always a friendship, a friendliness. It never becomes a relationship, it is always a relatedness. You relate, but you don't create a marriage. Marriage is out of fear, relatedness is out of love. You relate; as long as things are moving beautifully, you share. And if you see that the moment has come to depart because your paths separate at this crossroad, you say good-bye with great gratitude for all that the other has been to you, for all the joys and all the pleasures and all the beautiful moments that you have shared with the other. With no misery, with no pain, you simply separate.
One moment it was there, another moment it is gone. One moment we are here, and another moment we have gone. And for this simple moment, how much fuss we make! How much violence, ambition, struggle, conflict, anger, hatred, just for this small moment! Just waiting for the train in a waiting room on a station, and creating so much fuss: fighting, hurting each other, trying to possess, trying to boss, trying to dominate - all that politics. And then the train comes and you are gone forever.
This pain is not to make you sad, remember. That's where people go on missing....This pain is just to make you more alert--because people become alert only when the arrow goes deep into their heart and wounds them. Otherwise they don't become alert. When life is easy, comfortable, convenient, who cares? Who bothers to become alert? When a friend dies, there is a possibility. When your woman leaves you alone--those dark nights, you are lonely. You have loved that woman so much and you have staked all, and then suddenly one day she is gone. Crying in your loneliness, those are the occasions when, if you use them, you can become aware. The arrow is hurting: it can be used. The pain is not to make you miserable, the pain is to make you more aware! And when you are aware, misery disappears.
The heart is always right-- if there's a question of choosing between the mind and the heart-- because mind is a creation of the society. It has been educated. You have been given it by the society, not by existence. The heart is unpolluted.
The heart knows nothing of the past, nothing of the future; it knows only of the present. The heart has no time concept.
If you are ready to be intimate, you will encourage the other person also to be intimate. Your unpretentious simplicity will allow the other also to enjoy simplicity, innocence, trust, love, openness.
You have to drop all your defences, only then is intimacy possible. We are all hiding a thousand and one things, not only from others but from ourselves.
These three things are to be taken note of: the lowest love is sex - it is physical - and the highest refinement of love is compassion. Sex is below love, compassion is above love; love is exactly in the middle. Very few people know what love is. Ninety-nine percent of people, unfortunately, think sexuality is love - it is not. Sexuality is very animal; it certainly has the potential of growing into love, but it is not actual love, only a potential.... If you become aware and alert, meditative, then sex can be transformed into love. And if your meditativeness becomes total, absolute, love can be transformed into compassion. Sex is the seed, love is the flower, compassion is the fragrance. Buddha has defined compassion as love plus meditation. When your love is not just a desire for the other, when your love is not only a need, when your love is a sharing, when your love is not that of a beggar but an emperor, when your love is not asking for something in return but is ready only to give - to give for the sheer joy of giving - then add meditation to it and the pure fragrance is released. That is compassion; compassion is the highest phenomenon.
Seriousness is a sickness; your sense of humor makes you more human, more humble. The sense of humor -- according to me -- is one of the most essential parts of religiousness.
Life is not a tragedy, it is a comedy. To be alive means to have a sense of humor.
The moment you start seeing life as non-serious, a playfulness, all the burden on your heart disappears. All the fear of death, of life, of love - everything disappears. One starts living with a very light weight or almost no weight. So weightless one becomes, one can fly in the open sky. Zen's greatest contribution is to give you an alternative to the serious man. The serious man has made the world, the serious man has made all the religions. He has created all the philosophies, all the cultures, all the moralities; everything that exists around you is a creation of the serious man. Zen has dropped out of the serious world. It has created a world of its own which is very playful, full of laughter, where even great masters behave like children.
The whole effort of a Jesus or a Buddha or a Bodhidharma is nothing but how to undo that which society has done to you.
Life is a continuity always and always. There is no final destination it is going towards. Just the pilgrimage, just the journey in itself is life, not reaching to some point, no goal--just dancing and being in pilgrimage, moving joyously, without bothering about any destination. What will you do by getting to a destination? Nobody has asked this, because everybody is trying to have some destination in life. But the implications... If you really reach the destination of life, then what? Then you will look very embarrassed. Nowhere to go...you have reached to the final destination--and in the journey you have lost everything. You had to lose everything. So standing naked at the final destination, you will look all around like an idiot: what was the point? You were hurrying so hard, and you were worrying so hard, and this is the outcome.
To transform breakdowns into breakthroughs is the whole function of a master. The psychotherapist simply patches you up. That is his function. He is not there to transform you. You need a meta-psychology, the psychology of the Buddhas. It is the greatest adventure in life to go through a breakdown consciously. It is the greatest risk because there is no guarantee that the breakdown will become a breakthrough. It does become, but these things cannot be guaranteed. So when you enter into it with your small capacity, of course there is danger. But without facing this danger nobody has ever become integrated, nobody has ever become an individual, indivisible. The dawn is not far away, but before you can reach the dawn, the dark night has to be passed through. And as the dawn comes closer, the night will become darker.
Only those who are ready to become nobodies are able to love.
You just look around, look into the eyes of a child, or into the eyes of your beloved, your mother, your friend - or just feel a tree. Have you ever hugged a tree? Hug a tree, and one day you will come to know that it is not only that you have hugged the tree but that the tree also responds, the tree also hugs you. Then for the first time you will be able to know that the tree is not just the form, it is not just a certain species the botanists talk about, it is an unknown God - so green in your courtyard, so full of flowers in your courtyard, so close to you, beckoning you, calling you again and again.
Meditation is a kind of medicine - its use is only for the time being. Once you have learned the quality, then you need not do any particular meditation; then the meditation has to spread all over your life. Walking is Zen, sitting is Zen. Then what will be the quality? Watchfully, alert, joyously, unmotivated, centred, loving, flowing, one walks. And the walking is sauntering. Loving, alert, watchful, one sits, unmotivated - not sitting for anything in particular, just enjoying how beautiful just sitting doing nothing is, how relaxing, how restful.....After a long walk, you sit under a tree and the breeze comes and cools you. Each moment one has to be at ease with oneself - not trying to improve, not cultivating anything, not practicing anything. Walking is Zen, sitting is Zen. Talking or silent, moving, unmoving, the essence is at ease. The essence is at ease: that is the key word. The essence is at ease: that is the key statement. Do whatsoever you are doing, but at the deepest core remain at ease, cool, calm, centred.
To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.
Creativity is the quality that you bring to the activity that you are doing. It is an attitude, an inner approach - how you look at things....Not everybody can be a painter - and there is no need also. If everybody is a painter the world will be very ugly; it will be difficult to live! And not everybody can be a dancer, and there is no need. But everybody can be creative. Whatsoever you do, if you do it joyfully, if you do it lovingly, if your act of doing is not purely economical, then it is creative. If you have something growing out of it within you, if it gives you growth, it is spiritual, it is creative, it is divine. You become more divine as you become more creative. All the religions of the world have said God is the creator. I don't know whether he is the creator or not, but one thing I know: the more creative you become, the more godly you become. When your creativity comes to a climax, when your whole life becomes creative, you live in God. So he must be the creator because people who have been creative have been closest to him. Love what you do. Be meditative while you are doing it - whatsoever it is!
Fill your heart with the creative power to accept the past, decorate the present and transform the future.
Postponement is simply stupid. Tomorrow you will also have to decide, so why not today? And do you think that tomorrow you will be wiser than today? Do you think that tomorrow you will be livelier than today? Do you think that tomorrow you will be younger than today, fresher than today? Tomorrow you will be older, your courage will be less; tomorrow you will be more experienced, your cunningness will be more; tomorrow death will come closer--you will start wavering and being more afraid. Never postpone for the tomorrow. And who knows? Tomorrow may come or may not come. If you have to decide you have to decide right now. Make up your mind. Don't go on postponing infinitely.
The feminine is more powerful than the masculine, the soft is more powerful than the hard, the water is more powerful than the rock.
Millions of people are suffering: they want to be loved but they don't know how to love. And love cannot exist as a monologue; it is a dialogue, a very harmonious dialogue.
Do you think the people who were trying to reach to the Everest were not full of doubts? For a hundred years, how many people tried and how many people have lost their lives? Do you know how many people never came back? Not even their dead bodies came back; they got lost, lost forever. But, still, a few courageous people went on and on........But people went on coming from all over the world, risking, knowing that they may not come back ever, they may be lost. But it is worth it -- because in the very risk something is born inside you: the centre. It is born only in the risk. That's the beauty of risk, the gift of risk.
In this world, the greatest courage is to drop the mind aside. The bravest man is who can see the world without the barrier of the mind, just as it is. It is tremendously different, utterly beautiful. There is nobody who is inferior and there is nobody who is superior -- there are no distinctions.
Mind is repetitive, mind always moves in circles. Mind is a mechanism: you feed it with knowledge, it repeats the same knowledge, it goes on chewing the same knowledge again and again. No-mind is clarity, purity, innocence. No-mind is the real way to live, the real way to know, the real way to be.
The modern mind has lost all capacity to wonder. It has lost all capacity to look into the mysterious, into the miraculous - because of knowledge, because it thinks it knows.
Be less of a judge and you will be surprised that when you become a witness and you don't judge yourself, you stop judging others too. And that makes you more human, more compassionate, more understanding.
Any human being who is becoming independent of conditionings, of religions, scriptures, prophets and messiahs, has arrived home. He has found the treasure which was hidden in his own being. Become more and more innocent, less knowledgeable and more childlike. Take life as fun - because that's precisely what it is!
Intelligence is a natural phenomenon -- just as breathing is, just as seeing is. Intelligence is the inner seeing; it is intuitive. It has nothing to do with intellect. Never confuse intellect with intelligence, they are polar opposites. Intellect is of the head; it is taught by others, it is imposed on you. You have to cultivate it. It is borrowed, it is something foreign, it is not inborn. But intelligence is inborn. It is your very being, your very nature.
Drop the fear. Fear was taken up by you in your childhood, unconsciously. Now consciously drop it and be mature. Then the life can be a light which goes on deepening as you go on growing. The beauty of facing life unprepared is tremendous. Then life has a newness, a youth; then life has a flow and freshness. Then life has so many surprises. And when life has so many surprises boredom never settles in you.
Man has lost one quality, the quality of zestfulness. And without zest, what is life? Just waiting for death? It can't be anything else. Only with zest do you live; otherwise you vegetate.
Fools laugh at others. Wisdom laughs at itself.
Poetry is the whole descending into the part, the ocean disappearing into the dewdrop. Poetry is a miracle.
The best teacher is one who can help the last person hearing him, the lowest in intelligence, to understand. Of course the best ones will understand easily, but you have to keep aware of those who are not that intelligent.
You come to the master only in deep humbleness, because learning is possible only in humbleness. You have come to surrender, not to perform, not to manipulate, not to impress.
Falling in love you remain a child; rising in love you mature. By and by love becomes not a relationship, it becomes a state of your being. Not that you are in love - now you are love.
All the religions have been teaching, "Renounce the world." I teach you, transform the world.
To forget yourself is the only sin. And to remember yourself is the only virtue.
Life is closer to music than to mathematics, because mathematics is of the mind, and life throbs in your heartbeats...
Once you are free of past a tremendous realization happens: you are free of future also.
Life cannot be conquered because the part cannot conquer the whole. It is as if a small drop of water is trying to conquer the ocean.
Thinking is the absence of understanding. You think because you don't understand. When understanding arises, thinking disappears...
Don't be an interpreter of reality, be a visionary. Don't think about it, see it!
Live each moment as if it the last moment. And nobody knows - it may be the last.
Life is illogical. It is wild. In life, contradictions are not contradictions but complementaries.
The moment ego disappears, all the secrets are open secrets. Life is not like a fist; it is an open hand.
Watch the waves in the ocean. The higher the wave goes, the deeper is the wake that follows it. One moment you are the wave, another moment you are the hollow wake that follows. Enjoy both--don't get addicted to one. Don't say: I would always like to be on the peak. It is not possible. Simply see the fact: it is not possible. It has never happened and it will never happen. It is simply impossible--not in the nature of things. Then what to do? Enjoy the peak while it lasts and then enjoy the valley when it comes. What is wrong with the valley? What is wrong with being low? It is a relaxation. A peak is an excitement, and nobody can exist continuously in an excitement.
Sex is meaningful only when out of lust, love is born.
Love more and you will be more; love less and you will be less. You are always in proportion to your love.
Love is not manageable, it is simply something that happens, and the moment you try to manage, everything misfires.
Love dispels fear just as light dispels darkness.
People say love is blind because they do not know what love is. I say unto you, only love has eyes; other than love, everything is blind.
Never sacrifice your life for anything ! Sacrifice everything for life ! Life is the ultimate goal.
Zen Quotes of Osho
Zen is the way of spontaneous - the effortless effort, the way of intuition.
Zen is not a philosophy, it is poetry. It does not propose, it simply persuades. It does not argue, it simply sings its own song.
Zen is not morality, it is aesthetics. It does not impose a code of morality. It does not give you any commandments: "do this, don't do that."
Zen is a kind of unlearning. It teaches you how to drop that which you have learned, how to become unskillful again, how to become a child again, how to start existing without mind again, how to be here without any mind.
Zen is a totally different kind of religion. It brings humanness to religion. It is not bothered about anything superhuman; its whole concern is how to make ordinary life a blessing.
Zen is non-serious. Zen has a tremendous sense of humor. No other religion has evolved so much that it can have that sense of humor.
Zen is all-inclusive. It never denies, it never says no to anything; it accepts everything and transforms it into a higher reality.
Zen people love Buddha so tremendously that they can even play jokes upon him. It is out of great love; they are not afraid.
Zen says everything is divine so how can anything be special? All is special. Nothing is non-special so nothing can be special.
Zen says: be empty. Look without any idea. Look into the nature of things but with no idea, with no prejudice, with no presupposition.
Zen says: Think of all the great words and great teachings as your deadly enemy. Avoid them, because you have to find your own source. You have not to be a follower, an imitator. You have to be an original individual; you have to find your innermost core on your own, with no guide, no guiding scriptures. It is a dark night, but with the intense fire of inquiry you are bound to come to the sunrise. Everybody who has burned with intense inquiry has found the sunrise. Others only believe. Those who believe are not religious, they are simply avoiding the great adventure of religion by believing.
Zen says that if you drop knowledge - and within knowledge everything is included; your name, your identity, everything, because this has been given to you by others - if you drop all that has been given by others, you will have a totally different quality to your being: innocence. This will be a crucifixion of the persona, the personality, and there will be a resurrection of your innocence. You will become a child again, reborn.
Zen has no theory. It is a non-theoretical approach into reality. It has no doctrine and no dogma - hence it has no church, no priest, no pope.
Zen is the only religion in the world that teaches sudden enlightenment. It says that enlightenment takes no time, it can happen in a single, split second.

~ Alone in Love ~
Alone in Love .......
Upon awakening in the morning light
I can feel the emptiness surround me.
I who profess an undying love
have nothing in return
but my aloneness.
Somehow I have convinced myself of being loved
by the one I profess my love to so freely.
My reality is lying alone
where the only warmth I feel
is that of my passion for this forsaken love.
As I dream I fantasize
of a love
I desire to be
yet shall never be.
I have grown to know that being in love
is the loneliest experience
one can ever know
if its recipient does not nourish that love.
In knowing this entire.
Why can't I just lay this feeling aside?
Why can't I cast it away
as it has been so easily
by its intended?
For I know it is neither welcomed nor wanted.
Somehow in knowing this
it does not make my love
any less a reality to me.
Thus, I shall allow this eternal flame of love to burn on within me.
As I continue to believe that all things are possible
as long as one has faith in love and life.

~ I Walk Alone ~
I Walk Alone ........
As I walk the narrow path
I stop and look ahead
The distance between my goal
And myself seems alive
It's form haunts me and gloats
It tantalizes and teases
I cry out in anguish
And it laughs just out of reach
My heart shudders and my legs go weak
I want to stop, for but a moment
But fear of losing the trail spurs me on
So quivering I continue
Again, the obstacles dance around in circles
Mocking every mistake
And belittling every accomplishment
Again, I push on, shaking from their blows
The life I knew before long abandoned
The life I hope to find ahead
I walk in Limbo
I am there but do not exist
Sorrow overwhelms me as memories begin to fade
Faces of friends and loved ones melded together
Grotesque amalgamations of good times and bad
I laugh as tears roll down my face
The laugh is dark and bitter
My stomach sinks as it continues
The taunting ceases
My eyes dart back and forth
The gloating faces around me dissipate
They run from my moment of indifference
They cower as I cease to care
I release myself, however momentarily, from my anxiety
Again, my goal shines in the distance
It's light commands my attention
I snap back up, walking forward
And the faces return
As I walk the narrow path
I stop and look ahead
The distance between my goal
And myself seems alive

~ Aloneness ~
Aloneness .....
Loneliness and aloneness
they are not the same
for the shell of the mind
hears echoes of many seas
it hears the calling of gulls
from this savage sky
and an ebbing tide
lapping the small white stones.
/////////////
It nearly startled me
as it covered in its way
that aloneness set in
why did it choose today.
I've fought through the blues
shared passions as needed
walked through darkness
as if the route had been seeded.
Some days zip on by
others hang on like a bad dream.
Every ounce of strength drained
when emotions reached extreme.
Aloneness sets in at will
even in the midst of a crowd.
Smiling with a face of joy
as loneliness cries out loud.
I am mostly happy
but must past through the blues
At times it is just too much
far more than I can use.
Why did it come today
in the middle of a big to-do.
No matter what I was doing
my mind just wouldn't leave you.
Thanksgiving was a blast
till night fall slipped on in
There it was like an invasion
that loneliness back again.
If tears could build a stairway
and memories a lane
I'd walk right up to heaven
and bring you home again *

~ Noone Knows ~
~ The Truth In Your Heart ~
You know the truth in your heart
and yet you have this longing
to be with a beloved who lives life with passion
and loving purpose;
to share the journey with
a sweet kindred soul with eyes gazing beyond and back.
How beautiful is that longing.
Please don't spiritualize your desire...let it be
just what it is, let it burn brighter
so everyone sees you are true to love.
If you want something though, somewhere inside yourself
believe that very wanting isn't part of "the having"
then with what are you left?
Look at your life...how many things
that you live with are there, born of desire?
How many things you think you don't want
are there from misdirected or inactive desire?
It is immense, what comes of this revelation!
There are over 100 lines of silence after this.
Said in another way, your longing is pure...breathe
and follow it to the love-realms where that
beautiful one was looking for you
and now having found you, tears of longing reshape,
reflect as jewels glistening with "the having."
Breathe the tones that bring out that song.
Did you follow your tears "all the way"
to that place they are living to take you?
You know the truth in your heart,
what power lives there.
(That was not a question.)
My dear, be aware of the mind that thinks
it knows what this reaching, what these emotions are for.
Let this dance be new, you know the steps
though, let it carry you
rather than you carry all that you have been
used to carrying into the dance.
Innocence knows you
very well can navigate to the new
that is so familiar...listen to that song.
I know how it can seem in the pain,
in the feelings of what's missing.
You have noticed and that is blessed.
Did you in all of your feelings
find a simple gratitude?
he is your friend with an eye for what is to come,
always reminding you of what awaits in this next breath...
Your soul and my soul
have been having this conversation
for quite some time now.

~ River Of Life ~
River Of Life .....
The water bubbles gently
Up from the spring of life
New life is given
As the gentle waters flow
Children play and laugh
In the shallow waters
Carefree and joyful
Around a bend the water drifts
Into adolescence
The way grows narrower
The waters swifter
Another small creek
Joins into life's river
Violent rapids form ahead
A fallen tree blocks the way
Depries collect around it
Old bottles and some trash
Polluting the waters.
Little by little
They shake loose
And continue downstream
The problems of adolescense
Left behind.
But the current picks up
Quicker and quicker to
The waterfall of early adulthood
Caught in the current
There's no turning back now
The waters of life crash downward
Into the rocks below.
The river changes again
New, like never before
Shallow swift waters
Meander downstream
As life continues
Rapids occasionally
And a few trees
All is quick now
Swift and smooth.
The waters of old age
Suddenly end
In the ocean of death.

~ Today is My Birthday ~
Today is my Birthday ......
It is my birthday
I'm so thankful and grateful to Allah
I am blessed with beautiful kids
and wonderful people around me
I realize, I'm not young anymore
not beautiful anymore
but learning to be more wiser than yesterday
to my beautiful kids
and wonderful people around me
thank you so much for your support
and making me alive
We work hard
We share love deeply and completely
and over and over
and again and again.
We struggle and grow
and always come through
with more love and respect
for each other.
When I look around me
and see truly how many people are miserable,
how many choose nor love or truth,
and I'm so thankful to Allah
made me realize that
I am so very lucky.
Thank you Allah
The tribulations and challenges that you give me are nothing
to the love that you also give.
The love is as a blanket
that supports me -not covering me,
but carrying me on all
my journeys through-out life.
Even when I forget that it's there
Even when I rage and cry with seeming despair
You are there
To support me
To carry me through to the next corner of life.
Many beautiful corners have you transported me to and through
Yaa Allah thank you for your blessings.

~ A Realm of Heart ~
A realm of heart .........
Some times in moments of despair
That so often darkens life
I let my mind flow free
Beyond the things that can imagine
One who sees only with his eyes
And not with beating burning heart.
For there in the deep of heart
I look for medicine for despair
To bring new vision to my eyes
To feel again a breath of life
To let dreams dare I imagine
Come true and fly ahigh and free!
Wherever wish I – I am free
And no one can force my heart
Or, say, prohibit to imagine…
Although one can put despair
And sadness in my course of life
Or cover with a pain my eyes.
Heart’s sight is sharper than the eyes’
Which are in fact not all that free
Because illusion is the life
That may trick mind – not the heart;
In order to withstand despair
Create a world of yours – imagine!
The deepest sea you might imagine
Invisible for human eyes
Could sink forever you despair
And once again you will be free
You will rejoice to very heart
You will remember taste of life!
It’s not an easy thing – a life.
You now think you all imagine
And then you enter realm of heart
An inaccessible for eyes
But real, true and always free
For any soul in despair.
Despair is a part of life
But feel free always to imagine
Not with your eyes – with heart.

~ You Have Wings ~
You Have Wings ......
(Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi )
You were born with potential.
You were born with goodness and trust.
You were born with ideals and dreams.
You were born with greatness.
You were born with wings.
You are not meant for crawling, so don't.
You have wings.
Learn to use them and fly!

~ Let His Love remain ~
Let His Love remain ......
Why did you keep your burden inside you
when you have Allah to tell it to?
why did you fear everyone might hate
when you have Him who understand you?
Why did you fill your heart with pain and anguish
when you have Him to fill it with eternal bliss?
why did you choose to settle in turbulence
when there's His pure love that speaks of peace?
Open your heart,
Let Allah wash away the hurt,
Embrance the greatest love..
He,alone could give you
Pray to Allah for He listen to all prayers,
believe in Him alone and not the deceiving others
Do what He says for He is your mentor,
Love Him truly and not the impostor
when you are in battle unarmed,
ley His love be your sword,
when you feel cold,
let His love warm you
when you stumble and fall,
let His love cacth you
when you have no more food to eat,
let His love fill your tummy
when you can no longer breathe,
let His love be your air
when you have no more to drink,
let His love be your water
when you are lost in the rain,
let Allah's love be your shade
when you are lost in the dark,
let His love be your light
when you can no longer see,
let His love be your sight
when you are wound in a fight,
let Allah's love stop your bleedings
when you are wronged in an argument,
let His love unleash what's true
When no ane understand you,
let Allah's love be searched
When no one listen to you,
let His love be heard
when no one believes in you,
let His love be seen
when no one trusts you,
let His love be serene
when you believe no body loves you,
let Allah's love be your confidence,
When you doubt nobody protects you,
let His love to be you defence
when you feel nobody cares for you,
let His Love heed
when someone fools you,
let Allah's love make you wiser
when someone belittles you,
let His love make you greater
when someone abandons you,
let His love show what to do
when you are weak,
let Allah's love be you stength
when you can no longer smile,
let His love be sent
when you are lost,
let His love be your way
when you can no longer speak,
let His love tell you what to say
when you are afraid,
let Allah's love be your protection
when you are confused,
let His love be your liberation
when you are hurting,
let His love be you therapy
when you feel like giving up,
let Allah's love push you
when you feel tired and fed up,
let His love purpose pursue
when you reach the pinnacle of your journey,
the angels of the heavens will welcome you finally
so go on,
walk on the road leading to His heavens' grandeur
dont't go a day without His love you will never falter,
don't let the devil deceive your heart,
Allah shall conquer it forever
hold on and believe in Allah's love
that's the best you can have
please never weep again,
and in your heart....
Let His Love remain !
( The Prophet Muhammad said that Allah in the judgement day will ask :
Oh the son of Adam (the human being) : I was sick and you didn't visist me ?
the man will say : how would I visit you and you are the lord of the worlds?
Allah will say : didn't you know that one of men got sick, and you didn't visit him.If you visited him you would find me with him..
Allah will say : oh son of Adam,i asked you for food and you didn't feed me
man will say : how can i feed you and you are the lord of the worlds?
Allah will say : didn't you know that one of the men was hungry and you didn't give him food.If you fed him you would find me with him.

~ The Little Things ~
The Little Things...
It really is the little things
That mean the most of all...
The 'let me help you with that' things
That may seem very small
The 'I'll be glad to do it' things
That make your cares much lighter,
The 'laugh with me, it's funny' things
That make your outlook brighter...
The 'never mind the trouble' things,
The 'yes, I understand,'
The interest and encouragement
In everything you've planned
It really is the little things,
The friendly word or smile,
That add such happiness to life
And make it more worth while.

~ What is the Most Important Body Part ? ~
What is the Most Important Body Part?.........
My mother used to ask me what is the most important part of the body. Through the years I would take a guess at what I thought was the correct answer.
When I was younger, I thought sound was very important to us as humans, so I said, "My ears, Mommy."
She said, "No. Many people are deaf. But you keep thinking about it and I will ask you again soon."
Several years passed before she asked me again.
Since making my first attempt, I had contemplated the correct answer. So this time I told her, "Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes."
She looked at me and told me, "You are learning fast but the answer is not correct because there are many people who are blind."
Stumped again, I continued my quest for knowledge and over the years, Mother asked me a couple more times and always her answer was, "No, but you are getting smarter every year, my child."
Then one year, my grandfather died. Everybody was hurt. Everybody was crying. Even my father cried. I remember that especially because it was only the second time I had seen him cry.
My Mom looked at me when it was our turn to say our final goodbye to my grandfather. She asked me, "Do you know the most important body part yet, my dear?"
I was shocked when she asked me this now. I always thought this was a game between her and me. She saw the confusion on my face and told me, "This question is very important. It shows that you have really lived in your life. For every body part you gave me in the past, I have told you were wrong and I have given you an example why. But today is the day you need to learn this important lesson."
She looked down at me as only a mother can. I saw her eyes well up with tears. She said, "My dear, the most important body part is your shoulder."
I asked, "Is it because it holds up my head?" She replied, "No, it is because it can hold the head of a friend or a loved one when they cry. Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on some time in life, my dear. I only hope that you have enough love and friends that you will always have a shoulder to cry on when you need it."
Then and there I knew the most important body part is not a selfish one. It is sympathetic to the pain of others.
People will forget what you said.
People will forget what you did.
But people will NEVER forget how you made them feel.

~ HOW FIRM A FOUNDATION ~
"HOW FIRM A FOUNDATION" .........
Take any building-structure, in range from short to tall,
and having many sizes from huge to very small;
they have one thing in common-- a low foundation wall.
Although it may look solid, some weakness may exist,
brought on by many factors that arises in it's midst,
and as you view that building, you may not see it's list.
So, as you look upon it, it may not be as well
as the site that you are seeing, since you could never tell
that in that mighty body, weak foundations dwell.
Thus, the building is no stronger than the blocks it's resting on,
and the footing is no greater than the ground that spreads beyond.
With a weak foundation never... does a body stand alone!
Now, man is like that structure with little to rely,
His footing wroth with weakness, but nothing looks awry.
His body's strong appearance deceives the human eye.
Thus, man is no more stronger than beliefs he's resting on,
and his steps are no more truer than the ground he treads upon,
and his footing is no surer than his will to overcome!
How firm is your foundation?
Does your standing list or sway?
Are your footsteps planted squarely upon this earthly clay?
Do you stand on your convictions?
Are you solid when you pray?
If you, your body's structure, meets that building code,
then all the strength it musters-- never will erode,
then all your life's endeavors can haul the heavy load!
So, when your time has passed and you've met it's every test;
You've strengthen every column where upon your structures rest,
You have met your builder maker,
You have done your very best!

~ THE RIVER OF LIFE ~
THE RIVER OF LIFE .........
Over this river of life we flow,
Down the currents sail,
Upon the changing tides we go...
Fighting it "tooth and nail."
It is a long and rocky route
For all us sailors be;
Some souls will reach their goals throughout,
But some are lost at sea!
We're traveling with a hope for peace,
Of love, and harmony;
And striving for all wars to cease...
'Til everyone is free!
So we're sailing on this river of life
To some far better place;
Where absent are the woes and strife,
Just dwell in God's embrace!

~ Compassion ~
Compassion ..........
To the one who hurt us
do we hurt back
or do we show mercy
To the one who lied to us
do we lie back
or do we lead with honor
To the one who cheated us
do we cheat back
or do we forgive
To the one who hates us
do we hate back
or do we live only with love
To the one who stole from us
do we steal back
or do we give clemency
To the one who is jealous of us
do we bathe in it
or do we uplift them
To the one who makes a mistake
do we judge them
or do we remember our own mistakes
To the one who is weak
do we walk by
or do we help them
To the one who cannot love
do we pity them
or do we show compassion
To live in a wonderful world
do we remember
we must first master ourselves

We accumulate thousands in a lifetime
They don't cost a dime
Yours are Yours
And Mine are Mine

~ Thoughts ~
Thoughts ........
Thoughts are like butterflies
ever flitting and free
they bounce off your head
as if trying to find some rhyme or reason.
They come into you like a
flash of lightning,
illuminating your whole being;
then flee, like a scared rabbit.
It's funny, if you don't try to remember them,
they are elusive as that butterfly.
I fill my head with positive thoughts,
and when anything negative enters,
I stop them,
dead in their tracks.
No negative thoughts are welcome,
This head is only open to peace and tranquility!
so thoughts,
come hither,
only if you make me

~ Breath of Life ~
"Breath of Life"
Release, Relax, and Rejuvenate.
Breathing in healing energy
breath out the negative.
Knowing that healing is a breath away,
clears the mind and soul.
A steadfast, honest goal.
Sometimes you get hung up on stuff,
and the going gets pretty tough,
deep breathing can change it all.
Breathtaking, Breathless,
taking your breath away,
Can all be exciting moments.
Every time you hold your breath,
You lose healing energy to your soul.
So please just breathe!
Know that your breath is sacred,
your energy of sustaining life,
nourishing your every moment.
Release, Relax, and Rejuvenate.
Breathing in healing energy
always, breath out the negative!
(p.s : Being aware of how you breathe is so vital to your health. Just take a few minutes a day to really take in that healing energy and fill your lungs, hold it just a bit and exhale it out like you are getting rid of something unwanted! That negativity will fly out of you, so fast! )

~ How Much for A Glass of Water? ~
How Much for A Glass of Water? .........
A rich man was very attached to his wealth and money. A saint approached him and asked him this question.
“If you were dying of thirst in the desert, would you give half of your wealth for a glass of water?”
The rich man replied “Yes.”
The Saint then asked the rich man, “if you were in agony because you could not pass this water, would you spend half of your wealth to be able to pass the water?”
The rich man replied “yes”
So the saint said, “Why do you attach so much importance to your wealth when you would give up your entire kingdom and material possessions for a glass of water you don’t even get to keep?”
Analysis :
Material wealth is neither good nor bad. What is important is how it is used and our attitude towards it.
A knife can be used to stab someone or cut an apple in half to share. Similarly, money can be used to improve our material wellbeing; but it can also destroy a person.
If the accumulation of wealth is our highest priority we will be seeking happiness in ephemeral way; we will be doomed to disappointment. Furthermore, when we become possesed with the desire to accumulate wealth, we invariably become mean, selfish and self-absorbed. In this story the saint reminds us of the transitory nature of the world. No matter how much wealth we accumulate in this life, we can not take it with us – nor does wealth help us to understand the deeper meaning of life.

~ My Wants ~
My wants ..........
I want to reach high up in the sky
So that I do not see the crowds
I want to steal the stars of their brightness
So that it can give me happiness
I want to rob the moon of its beauty
So that it can conceal my cruelty
I want to know the best in me
So that I can hide the worst in me
I want to run away from fantasies
So that I can come out of my dreams
I want to leave alone my thoughts
For they are the best thing I ever had
