~ Walking alone ~

Walking alone ..........


I have walked what seems lifetimes, by myself
Feeling as though I am gaining nothing
but pain, fear, and disappointment

There is nothing here for me
I am wondering place to place,
feeling to feeling
without the destination of happiness

I have searched for it
I have given everything my soul has to find it
But still,
it is no where to be found

So as I continue to pursue the thing I can not seem to grasp
I pray that no one feels as alone as I do...
